For whatever reason, the Occupy Wall St. page on Facebook decided to post the maternity picture of my husband and I…and the comments on it blow me away. I’ve received a lot of hate/insults on the internet before, but I think these are the worst so far. It’s a completely different reaction than I got on this site. Luckily I’m used to it and it doesn’t upset me, but it’s a good reminder—when I only surround myself with kind, open-minded people—of what sort of people are out there.

Every time I see this photo I smile because I think it is the cutest photo I have ever seen. They just looks so happy and excited to having the baby. I’m so glad they don’t take any of these comments seriously because I’d be in a ball on the floor crying about how much humanity sucks.
